All Dogs are required to be on a leash whenever they are off of the owner’s property. In addition, all dogs must be licensed and vaccinated. On occasion, the City helps advertise or sponsor a vaccination clinic so that local pet owners can have a more convenient way of taking care of their pet’s needs.
For information about regulations related to animals on your property, please contact the City Offices. Certain areas of the City are zoned to allow for large animals and certain areas are more restrictive and may not allow them. The number of animals on a property may also be restricted based on the type/size.
Violations of animal and pet regulations can lead to impoundment and fines.
